Hi, I saw your program online and wanted to ask about Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Is this a good fit for a career changer?
AtticusApr 21, 2026, 11:02 AM
Hey Emma! Great question — Certified Clinical Medical Assistant is one of our most popular career-change tracks. 16-week hands-on program covering clinical skills, patient prep, vitals, and minor procedures. Graduates sit for the CCMA national exam. What is your current background?
StudentApr 21, 2026, 11:05 AM
I have been in retail management for about 4 years. I want something more stable with actual growth.
AtticusApr 21, 2026, 11:07 AM
That background translates well — patient communication and time management are skills retail folks bring in all the time. Healthcare is one of the most recession-proof sectors in Florida right now, and Orlando's job market for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant grads is strong. What is your timeline?
StudentApr 21, 2026, 11:11 AM
Start ASAP.
AtticusApr 21, 2026, 11:12 AM
That is exactly what we like to hear. Our next cohort kicks off in 3 weeks — applications close Friday. Would it help to walk through cost and financial aid first, or would you rather see the class schedule?
StudentApr 21, 2026, 11:16 AM
Cost is my main concern. I have a family and I cannot take on a lot of debt.
AtticusApr 21, 2026, 11:18 AM
Completely understandable — and that is exactly why we go over aid before anything else. We have a few options — WIOA workforce funding covers up to 100% for qualifying students, and we also have an in-house scholarship for first-time allied health enrollees. Most students end up paying between $0 and $2,400 out of pocket. Total program cost for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant is $4,950, which covers textbooks, uniform, and your exam voucher. Are you currently receiving any unemployment or workforce benefits? That can open up additional funding.
StudentApr 21, 2026, 11:22 AM
I am not on unemployment but I was laid off about 6 months ago. Does that still count?
AtticusApr 21, 2026, 11:24 AM
It might — WIOA eligibility looks at employment history and job-seeking status, not just current unemployment. Our financial aid coordinator does a free 15-minute eligibility check before you ever commit to anything. No pressure. Want me to set that up?
StudentApr 21, 2026, 11:28 AM
Yes that sounds good. What else do I need to qualify?
AtticusApr 21, 2026, 11:30 AM
For Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, you will need a high school diploma or GED, a valid government-issued ID, and to pass a background check — standard for clinical programs in Florida. If there is anything in your history you are unsure about, admissions can walk you through how it might be evaluated before you apply.

Perfect, got it. And the best number is still (407) 312-4821?
StudentApr 21, 2026, 11:38 AM
Yes that is right.
AtticusApr 21, 2026, 11:41 AM
You are all set, Emma. I have passed your info to our admissions team — expect a call within one business day. They will cover the financial aid check, schedule, and next steps. Really glad you reached out!
